Live audio descriptions for blind and visually impaired people

Audio description is a live description that blind and visually impaired guests hear on site during the concerts. The descriptions are received via headphones. The headphones are provided free of charge. Live audio description is available for the plays: »BÄ!« on February 3rd at 3 pm (tactile tour at 2:15 pm) and »POETRY AFFAIRS« on February 4th at 2:30 pm (tactile tour at 1:30 pm).
We will meet at the festival information stand in the entrance area of the Theaterhaus for the guided tour.

The Theaterhaus is easily accessible from the Pragsattel stop (U-Bahn 6, 13, 15) as well as from the Maybachstraße stop (U-Bahn 6, 13, 16). BÄ! is a musical theater for young audiences. The story is about shy Martin, who has many adventures in a time machine with his teddy bear Bä.
Poetry Affairs are performances created by five poets and five composers from ten different European countries working together with the Neue Vocalsolisten Stuttgart. They deal with the multifaceted relationships between language and music.
