I have completed trainings as singing, breathing, speaking and voice teacher according to Schlaffhorst-Andersen and as sound technician and bring many years of professional experience in teaching and practice. This includes teaching assignments and workshops at universities in Hamburg (HfMT), Hanover (HMTM), Bremen (Uni and HfK) and Berlin (Hochschule Ernst Busch). As a singer I am mainly involved in contemporary, improvised, but also in popular music. As a soloist I have performed at renowned festivals, including Edingburgh Festival, Ruhrtriennale, Holland Festival, Maerzmusik and Music Festival Istanbul.

In my teaching I incorporate both my musical knowledge and my knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the voice. I also offer separate lectures on this subject. The keywords mindfulness, kinesthesia, sensitization of the perception, as well as the separate training of all distinct components involved in the singing voice, are particularly important to me. Through this, a dissolution of possibly hindering patterns can be made possible. In the lessons I like to use exercises according to the principles of Moshe Feldenkrais, but also, if suitable, exercises from the further development of Method Acting by Eric Morris. I also offer training on special voice requirements, such as fine-tuning articulation tools, balancing vocal coloration in German as a foreign language, vocal effects in pop singing, singing with different types of microphones, imitation of accents, help with urgent voice problems, and singing while accompanying oneself with an instrument.

As a voice coach, I have been used repeatedly in theater, dance and vocal productions since 2015, for example as a coach for overtone singing in »Stimmung« by Karlheinz Stockhausen (Gaudeamus Festiv. 2018) or as a coach for screaming performers in the production »Schlagsahne« (Kampnagel Hamburg season opening 2020), as well as a voice coach for »THE SPACE BETWEEN« (dance funding by Elbkulturfonds 2021).

My professional experience and knowledge as a sound technician/sound engineer flow into the design and conception of vocal recordings. I am familiar with the entire process of both studio and live productions and am up to date with the latest technical developments.
In this context I had the opportunity to work as the sound engineer responsible for the opening of the Ruhrtriennale 2016 »Alceste« with Johan Simons (director) and René Jacobs (musical director).

As a sound designer and composer, I create immersive playbacks for theater and video installations in combination with my vocals and other instruments.
