Siddhii Lagrutta
Siddhii was born in Venezuela, has Italian nationality and grew up in the USA and Germany. She studied voice with Marianne Spiecker- Henke (Hochschule für Künste Bremen) and acting at the Schule für Schauspiel Hamburg. She was nominated in London for Best Female Performance for the role of Ondine in the eponymous play, which she produced, composed and recorded the music for and which then received 2 further award nominations. She also won Best Supporting Actress at Focus International Film Festival for her performance in White Lily.
Siddhii has completed a post graduate degree in Contemporary Chamber Music Performance and graduated with honors at the Hochschule für Musik in Basel. As a soprano soloist she won the John Cage Award in Halberstadt’s international competition for contemporary music and was finalist in the Sacred Music International Competition in Rome. Due to her eclectic upbringing she has an affinity for different cultures and languages (she speaks fluent Spanish, English, French, Italian and German).
