Between slipping (losing control) & gliding (moving smoothly), the piece deals with the embracing of errors and glitches in societies and different systems and explores how the tools, stories and concepts we employ in our lives are not neutral; but actively shape our understanding of the world.

Embracing errors encourages reflection on the nature of thought, language, and narrative, emphasizing their role in constructing our individual & collective realities. They unveil the ineffable and point towards an untamed unknown, challenging the presumption that language and control go hand in hand. By embracing them, one engages with the beauty of unpredictability.

Errors become a gateway, encouraging a departure from the safety of the known & an exploration of the uncharted. Dealing with imperfection, we perceive errors as a certain brilliance in evading control, offering opportunities for growth, discovery, and the continuous evolution of both ourselves and the systems we navigate

Georgia Koumará und Flor de Fuego

Georgia Koumará (*1991 in Thessaloniki) studied music theory and composition in Thessaloniki with Michalis Lapidakis and in Cologne with Johannes Schöllhorn and Michael Beil. She conveys her thoughts through sound, drawing, body gestures, unpredictability and thick layers of noise. In her music, she is fascinated by exploring the relationships that exist among conceptual, perceptual, and quantifiable time. She takes pleasure in collaborating with others and incorporating improvisational elements into her works. The complexity of the human brain and human existence fascinates her. She dedicates a substantial amount of time finding the next fragile moment and experimenting with synthesizers.

Flor de Fuego (*1991 in Buenos Aires) is a digital-craft artist that mainly works with programming and live coding in order to create performative experiences. Her research rounds concepts like the body, space, code and chaos. Education is a fundamental part in her production. Flor is part of CLiC (live coders collective) from Argentina. She is also an active community collaborator of Hydra, a live coding browser software developed by Olivia Jac.
